Processing of Personal Data – Contact Information
In connection with your purchase from Sakana v/Zoë Escher, you have entered a range of personal data, including in particular:
- Your name / company name
- Your address
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Company registration number (VAT)
- Your payment details
We process this personal data in connection with handling your purchase, as it is necessary for us to fulfill our part of the transaction. Additionally, accounting records must, by law, be stored for 5 years. After that period, the data will be deleted.
If you have ordered delivery, your name, address, phone number, and email address will be shared with our shipping partners, PostNord and DAO, for the purpose of delivering your purchases.
Processing of Personal Data – Consent
If you have checked the box saying, “yes, I consent to being contacted via email with newsletters or offers,” we will process your email address and information about your purchases with us until it is no longer relevant. In practice, this means until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive emails from us.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this either by using the link at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us at info@sakana.dk and stating that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters and offers.
Data Security
Whether we process your personal data for the fulfillment of a contract or based on your consent, we will always process your data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.
Your information will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when that purpose is fulfilled or no longer relevant.

If there are errors in our information, you can always request to have them corrected so we have accurate data. You also have the right to receive the information in a commonly used format (data portability). If you wish to make changes or request data portability, you are very welcome to email us at the above address.
If you no longer want us to process your personal data or wish to restrict the processing of your personal data, you can also send us a request to the above email address.
Your data (except for your email address, if you have consented to its use for receiving offers) will be deleted 6 months after you have received your item.
